I find it hard to explain what my work is really about. It has to do with the human spirit and how tangled up we are. How we perceive events and relationships. Our foibles and follies. How we go about our lives. Little insights through glances of life – the shapes of things and how we interpret them photographically.
Through my photographs I aim to express what’s there even through hidden behaviour – how love is recognised even in difficult times.
I see beauty in the madness of life, including the natural and human landscape and try to speak about the emotion which lives in the shadows of our lives.
It is an attempt to show the hidden meaning of our lives through the documentation of the spaces we visit and inhabit and our interaction within various environments.
